Converting / Web Tension Control

Converting as used in this context is the treatment of running webs of base materials such as plastic and metal foils, films, paper, carton, non-wovens/fleece, rubber, composites and technical textiles.
The treatment methods are very versatile: pre-treatment and post treatment: calendaring, application of adhesives, coating, lamination, embossing, impregnation, humidification, drying, hardening, printing, varnishing, nanocoating, tailoring.

The HAEHNE Company has been working with the converting industry for more than 30 years and provided patented solutions for a variety of web tension measurement and control applications.

For the treatment methods mentioned above a variety of machinery and equipment is used:
-- rewinder and unwinder in very different differing designs on narrow rolls, shorts rolls etc.
-- treatment machinery for the various processes
-- machines for slitting and cut-to length applications.
