These new stiff web tension sensors are especially suited for fast running webs - be it paper, textile, plastic or metal. The sensors combined with strain gauge amplifiers and PID controller of the HAEHNE product program results in complete measuring systems. The actual value of the amplifier outputs is proportional to the web tension and can be used either for digital displays or as input to closed loop control circuits.
