With roll lengths ranging from 100 to 250 mm a broad spectrum of applications is covered such as label rolls, tapes and packing material. Nominal forces ranging from 50 to 2000 N provide reliable web tension control in processing machinery.
 The actual measuring element is the proven radial force sensor ZAK, which is based on the double bending beam principle. This measurement principle provides the collection of forces at uniform load. The signal processing of the measurement signals is done in analog or fieldbus strain gauge amplifiers.
A multi-functional, digital controller offers additional refinement through the input of roll diameter or web velocity. A selection of components from the HAEHNE program is available to optimize applications.
Via the connection of an interface box the measuring rolls are certified according to ATEX for the use in hazardous environments.
The measuring rolls are supplied with mounting flanges or clamping brackets for plug-and-play installations on vertical machine frames or horizontal mounting surfaces.
The large spectrum of potential applications makes the MWF the product of choice for compact solutions.
