Whereas the current sizes 1 and 2 are suitable for nominal forces of up to 1000 Newton respectively 1600 Newton, the sizes 3 and 4 are suitable for nominal forces of up to 3000 respectively 5000 Newton. Thus machine builders as well as final customers are now in a position to use more cost-effective components in their applications.
The technical parameters of the new larger sensors are similar to the smaller sizes 1 and 2:

These cost-effective sensors are primarily intended for applications where the measurement and control of larger forces is necessary but more expensive stainless steel versions are not required by the ambient conditions under consideration. Unique production methods have resulted in lowering work-in-process inventory and correspondingly reduced the delivery times. The combination of all of these factors has resulted in these cost-effective products.
